I know the Gamecube one isn't and nor is the PS2 one I hear - however the problem with that one is that you of course need to boot the network setup disc - which could well be region coded!

That said I do know some online games have an option to configure the network options, so you 'might' be able to work around that, that way!

in fact I'm sure the gamecube one is.

the adaptor will physically work in any cube, apart from the fact the software wont work over ethernet between multi regions, which makes sense of course.
