xbox headset woes

After to many ciders I broke my live headset.Stood up to go for a piss and as I stood up my foot was onthe cable ,ripped the thing clean of my head snapping the earpiece attachment in the process. ft:

Does anybody know where I can get a replacement,all I am after is any old headset that will plug in to live.Or is it a case of buying another starter kit for the headset

i did the same thing...u need to call xbox customer service 0800 587 1103 they will ask for ur xboxs serial number... give them ur serial and address and within a week u got urself a new headset for free

I broke mine a while back so i tried that number !

seems to be a fax number (+ my ears hurt now )

I did the same thing (well I wasn't drunk), I went to put it on the other night and must have opened to much as the earpiece clip snapped.

I was straight down PC World in the morning, with the receipt and box, expecting the usual "Sorry, we can't replace it. You'll have to contact Microsoft"/"My contract is with you for 12 months as this is where I brought from" arguement and they gave me a new one just like that.

I said i broke it but it seemed a bit flimsy from new, the chap said yeah we a re aware of this - they will do the first 2 for you free, after 2 you pay !

what the hell.... i rang up jus now for a headset and there was some next foriegn woman on there who whispered over the fone... every other word i had to say "pardon"?

she said that i have to send my old headset to them she gave me an address... and then took my addres.. she said the headset will be there in a few days.... i aint sendin em ****TTT!!!

was anyone else asked to send em the old headset?

Phone and tell them it's broke,
get a new one sent out,
keep other one,
end up with two working units,
get Conker and play 2-player online with headsets for both players.

Just so's you know, any old mobile phone hands free set will work.

I tried my old Nokia 3310 set and got nothing.

I would like to use a decent earpiece/mic, but it must be light - the Xbox one gives me a headache after a while.

Any suggestions?
