PS2 joystick with DC?

been looking for a DC joystick for ever but they're so hard to find! I've realised maybe getting a PS2 joystick with a port-adapter is a more viable (and more future-proof) option.

so:
- what is the best adapter? (gamefocus had one but it was ?20 )
- what is the best joystick to get? (considering some sticks may not work with the adapter?)

I know there must be some fighter diehards on here with experience of this!

they go for quite a bit on ebay, the other option might be a better plan.

You could buy it for 8 quids from gamestation 2nd hand but it is not easy to get one. I have to keep an eye on it for 6 months before getting one. Check out gamestations in your area often.
