    Xbox wireless joypad

    Hi,

Recently I have bought an xbox. I am interested in getting a wireless joypad.

Having used the Wavebird on my GC which is the best joypad I have every come across and not a big fan of 3rd party joypads.

Is there any out there that are any good for the xbox and are comparable to the Wavebird in quality?

    Cheers

I've a feeling Logitech make one, actually, but its an arm and a leg for it. Unfortunately, there is no official product yet; Play.com have the extension cables at a very reasonable price, which is the route I've gone down.

Just want rid of the cable's so to keep the minimalist theme going in the living room. :-)

The logic 3 one seems like it might be quite good - here.

That looks pretty neat, I agree. If you don't want the outlay however, just do what I do and keep the controllers tidied away in a box or drawer when not in use. Even with the Wavebird I find that the Cube looks neater without the dongle on the front.

I have the Logic3 "freebird" controller and it is a surprisingly good quality controller, It has a rumble feature (which is switchable), a range of 15 metres and the black and white buttons both on the right hand side and as shoulder buttons above the triggers (which works really well). The only downsize is that the headset plug is on the dongle and not the pad so it is not recommended for going live
