Raiden III PAL - Delayed?

Play don't even have a price for it yet.

Any ideas? I'm having trouble tracking down the JPN version so was waiting for this, especially since it's probably going to be ?15

It's been delayed and delayed since March, IIRC -- it seems to have been put back another month every time I look. Play had it down for March originally, then June, then August, and now they've given up.

tbh, I'm beginning to doubt it'll ever be released over here.

Jeez - don't believe anything you read on 505's website. It's written by Aldridge Prior. I never got a response to my email to them asking about release dates either. Bunch of muppets. Best bet is to keep an eye on ebay and play.com - they're your best indicator as to whether the game's been released...

Raiden III is available

... in Italy. I managed to get a PAL copy posted to me from an Italian shop on eBay a few weeks ago. It was sealed had Italian instructions and text on back cover but game was in English. Keeps putting them up for sale 1 at a time, or visit www.Primocontatto.com. Cost me ?35 in total, but worth it, postage took 1 week. Great gameplay.

It's now listed for release on the 29/9 according to Play.com. Here's hoping it'll come out this time. I really doubt it'll be cancelled due to it being out in other European countries.

Thanks. Preordered. After posting this thread, I ordered one from Japanpa where it was "in stock", although they eventually apologised saying it was in error and although they searched high and low around other shops, they couldn't find it anywhere. Fingers crossed for the PAL one then, because I don't think it's worth the money its rarity is demanding. VGI have it for ?40 2nd hand I just want to play it.

I could quite easily use my DC stick on the PC with my joybox but no doubt it will crash on installation, force me to update all my graphics drivers and then tell me my machine can't handle it. Then I'll also be stuck with sound coming out of my ?6 Trust speakers and blurry visuals on my rather slow update Benq 17" LCD screen, whilst sitting on a chair.

They'd have to pay me to play the PC version.
