same as the chap above - looks fantastic.
The only part to go into my htpc is a sound card. Do I need to get a specific one or will pure video sort out the dts / 5.1 etc for me.
I know I need to get one with a digital output coax or optical.

I bought a cheapo ?7 or ?8 one from ebuyer with optical out, I didn't go for something more pricey as I assumed the PC just spits out the 5.1 down the optical out rather than processing it at all-is this correct?

This is the one I bought, price seems to have doubled since I bought it though.

Just tried PureVideo, while it's better than AVIVO was for me, it's still very sub-Oppo.

Every video codec I've used so far, PureVideo included, seems to add some kind of blurring to the edges, meaning the entire image looses clarity. The Oppo does not do this, it's just crystal clear, with no wierd-as-heck blurring going on. Really annoying.

Looks like the Oppo has to stay =/

gone back to the power dvd codec as the pure one makes the tv picture stutter despite the hz setting. Anyone else had this problem?
