Japanese games on a US DC?

I have a PAL and US DC and would like to play a few Japanese games.
Will the Action Replay CDX disc that came with DC-UK magazine boot Japanese imports on the US machine? It boots all US games on the PAL machine though most in 50Hz but only boots some PAL games on the US machine e.g. Crazy Taxi but not San Francisco Rush.

That CD will indeed allow you to play most imports, including Japanese games. But if you want a boot-up disc that works for everything, i recommend the DC-X by Future Console Design...It is quite rare nowadays though.

I use Blaze's Xploder CD for running imports. Had no problems up to now, and if you look hard enough, you should find it in the bargain bin of an GAME or GameStation.
