Didn't want to do this, but I'm at the end of my tether now trying to get the last few bits out of NSMB so am asking the forum if any members can help, here goes:

Next to world 5-3 there is a warp pipe, as far as i can see there's no alternate castle to finish the level into in order to access it, anyone know different?

star coin 2 on world 7-1

on world 7 there is a 1up house which is accesed via 7-3 or the 1st tower, tried both looking for alternate routes with no luck

world 7, i'm guessing it will be 7-8 if i ever get to it, can be accesed from either 7-5 or 7-7, again i've tried both looking for an alternate route but to no avail

The 3rd star coin on the first big castle in world 8

the 2nd star coin on the final castle, again world 8

Thanks for that, would've preferred to have been skilful enough to find the last few bits on my own but it's done now, another question that doesn't appear to be answered in the faq's, what needs to be done in order for three stars to appear next to my save file?

all star coins

all special items unlocked - like wallpapers etc found on the 1st level

all places unlocked - warp-pipes and locations

and you have to have visited all locations - no red spots under each place
