Best ps2 scart cable

I just hooked up my ps2 for the first time in yonks and used the standard ps2 composite to scart convertor that came with the console. The pictures dreadful.

I'm limited to scart as my tv doesnt have component, so i was interested as to if theres any variation in quality between all the scart cables offered for ps2 and if so which is the best one?

Blaze is excellent, better even than the SCE one. It has Guncon support too.

I ended up getting one off ebay for four quid, its very good too, crap build quality but meh

i'm not paying 34.99 for the official one.. it looks just as bad quality, at least the nintendo cube one is solid build. the xbox one too. makes it not so bad shelling out all the time for official cables.

probably gamester one i have, picked it up years ago in hmv..ive also got an xbox one aswell and i haven't seen a better scart since. As they dont make them anymore as far as i know, its heavily insulated and gold plated..heavy duty even has a lever to push the scart end out of a socket and extra guncon outputs. i never use mine anymore because i have my ps2 hooked up to my monitor. you can buy it off me if you want, ?6inc delivery. give me a pm if your interested.

They've got an 'omni' RGB Scart lead in Blockbuster at the moment for ?7.99. You can use it on PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Don't know if it's any good but it'd be nice to have around if it is.

PS: I got an old Competition Pro PS1 RGB scart lead dirt cheap off the car boot a month or so back and it's great, if a little unsturdy - works fine on my PS2. Has GunCon connection, too.

The official cable is brilliant, very high quality and much better than the 3rd party ones I had before. Crippling price though.

I do have a problem where it doesn't switch to RGB on some screens though, so I'm actually buying a Blaze to replace it.

I have three official PS SCART cables and it is the best videogame SCART cable I have seen. It is worth the money in my opinion.
