Need help regarding error message

"The procedure entry point _BinkShouldSkip@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library binkw32.dll"

Anyone encountered the above error before? Its the only thing standing between me and getting the Dark Messiah demo working. I've downloaded the binkw32.dll file after finding out it was missing and put it in my WINDOWS/system32 folder, but the problem won't go away

It sounds like the demo is finding another copy of Binkw32.dll in a communal location, before it can find the demo's version.

We certainly don't want to do anything that might keep any other game from working, so we won't change that communal version. Instead, try this:
- Go to the demo folder.
- In the folder there should be a System sub-folder.
- In there is Binkw32.dll - copy it from the System sub-folder into the demo folder
- Just in case, also copy MSS32.dll to the demo folder too.
- Restart the demo.
