How do i stop the dial up every time i start windows

Whenever i start windows i get my dial up connection popup i cancel then it pops up several more times and worse perhaps up to 10 min later usually when i am playing oblivion which causes it to crash

Anyone know how i can stop this?

Try opening Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Connections Tab > then check 'Never dial a connection' if it's available.

I'd have a check to see if you've got any software that checks the internet automatically for updates, and also have a check for any dodgy adware/spyware/diallers.

aint used dial connection method for broadband for ages but untick the option to always dial connection or something like that
