    I'm with Pipex and the protocol encryption on utorrent doesn't seem to work for me - and I've tried pretty much everything.

      Changing from the default port would be an idea too, yo - but I guess changing that is part of the "tried everything"..

        Apparently Pipex have bough in software that can detect protocol encryption on Bittorrent clients.

            Yeah I don't see how they can install some software that magically unencrypts the data. Unless of course they got FBI specialists in :O

              I'm with BT broadband and tried the encryption thing ages ago - made no difference with Azureus. I also never let my up get over 50k or so, hence that wasn't/shouldn't have been an issue with my bandwidth. I'm happy enough with the dl speeds I'm getting off uTorrent now though. Not mega but acceptable. It seems I just have to do the bt client switcheroo every so often. Meh.
