For those that own the game, did the non EO control setup turn out to work well with the HORI Gamepad or Arcade Stick?

Whats the verdict?

Yep... game plays fine with properly configured buttons on my Hori SC2 stick

the hori gamepad is actually very good, its not quite as good as the classic snes pad but it still does the job

Are there enough buttons on it?...
Also how about the D pad, does it grind your thumb down trying to do hadokens? haha

Ha Ha HA! HA!! No.

The Hori pad is superb for CvS, primarily because of the D-Pad. It's the best pure digital pad I've used since the SNES pad.
