taking 360 pad apart

has anyone else taken a pad apart yet?

I've got a torx 8 screwdriver so was allready to rip one apart and sort out the d-pad and then noticed like a small pin sticking out of each screw stopping my screwdriving fun >.<

can these be broken off easily?

I managed to snap them off pretty easily using a small screwdriver.
