supergun and Midway Boards...

Hi all,
Wondered if midway boards - NBA JAM, MK etc. etc. run ok through a supergun through the TV?
I ask because I'm about to knock up a supergun primarily for Nba Jam but know there can be probs with regards to video modes or sync issues with these boards? I was going to knock up a straight supergun with an RGB out but wanted to check if this would work with these specific boards, as don't want to unpack my old arcade monitor.
