    Gamestation + Dead Pixel DS's

I just bought a DS lite today from Gamestation and its got a couple of dead pixels. Does anyone know if they will exchange it? I would call but they are closed now for the day.

    Thanks.

They should do, if you were to come to the branch I work at we would allow an exchange for another one (if you had the reciept obviously). If it was a used one we would exchange for one with no dead pixels and show you beacuse obviously we cant open up the new ones and show you, them being sealed and all. So yeah it should be no problem.

Cheers, I'll see if it annoys me over the next few hours then maybe take it back. I'll probably get one back that is even worse.. :|

Just keep exchanging then. Do it in store so you can keep checking.

Will they not get really pissed off with that? Or do Nintendo happily replace them?

I got a DS Lite from Game and it had a dead pixel. I returned there the following morning and went through 5 DS Lites each with more dead pixels. It was pretty embarrasing tbh, I looked like a crazy man and while they were polite I could see it was getting annoying for them.

After that I just sent it back to Nintendo and got it replaced within a week with a perfect machine.

Nice one, thanks for the info! I'll try replacing it once with the store, then maybe contact Nintendo. If it was on the top screen right in the corner like my old DS I wouldn't mind, but its a red one and a green one slap bang in the middle of the lower screen.

They exchanged it for me (after testing it for a while) and replaced it without hassle. Yay. Back at work now so can't play it until later. Hopefully it will be ok though
