I bought a Power Glove from someone in America and was told it worked fine. When I finally got around to testing it I found it doesn't work. When I turn the NES on all the lights on the LED panel come on, instead of after pressing start or select. All the buttons make beeping sounds when I press them, apart from Start and Select.
At first I thought it was completely broken. But then I thought it might be because it's made for NTSC consoles and I'm using it on a PAL console. Does anyone know of any problem with compatibility like this? I've heard SNES pads don't work in other territories, but that NES pads do.
I've cut the lockout chip and tested that the console works with American games. But that didn't make the glove work.
