Cheap component cable?

I've just found out that component video cable is bloody expensive, but I'd still like to get one for my TV and DVD player. Can anyone recommend a cheap component cable, or retailer? Around the ?20 mark. Also, how hard is it to build the cable yourself?

I've seen a decent looking comp cable in my dixons by JVC, its around ?15 I think. Gold plated and all that but I have no idea about the quality of it.
