Easy Ridge Racer 6 question

Hopefully. Im playing a ntsc-u copy of rr6 on a pal xbox 360 on a 4:3 crt tv via an official x360 rgb lead and i have massive black boarders,top and bottom:dissapointed::-( is this noramal on a 4:3 set up? Or have i missed an ingame menu option to adjust the display? Thanks for any help.

Its normal all the 360 games are 16x9 and dont crop on 4x3 displays

It depends between which games you play and whether or not they have a 4:3 option , 4:3 is optional for the developers
