What's the best memory available for the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe

    Hi guys!

I've been away from the ASUS A7N8X scene for a while.
Could you guys help me out?

I need to know what the best (PC35000 or above) memory is for the A7N8X Deluxe motherboard.

I currently have 1 stick on 256mb OCZ PC3500 not sure if I should stick in another one or sell it and buy a different make of memory that's better...

I'm hoping to stick 2 sticks in for this dual-channel technology on this board.
I'm looking to overclock and I also need the memory to be stable.

Thanks to all replies in advance.

OCZ ram is still good m8

Twinmos with winbond ch-5 chips is a overclockers fave also.

Me, i bought 1gb of Mushkin level II ddr, damm expensive but looks good

OCZ PC3500 is the daddy. I have 2 512Mb sticks of this on my 875 based board and it runs perfectly at 500Mhz 8) .

For that mobo the best memory is the Corsair twinX series, specially tested with the asus a7n8x delux motherboard.

If you are lucky enough to own the rev.2 version of the board, which is tested and qualified to run at 200+fsb, then consider the twinX ddr 4oo.
Apparently each pair of modules is rigously tested for stability and performance.

I have the same board and currently use TwinX ddr2700 ddr in twin bank mode, and performance is rock solid.

            Cool... Thanks everyone!
Just found out that CEX won't take my 256mb OCZ EL PC3500 as it has a heat sink!

Wod the second link you gave is for the single modules with the blue heatsinks. These have been known to have issues with the a7n8x motherboard when run in twin bank cofiguration. The ram you want is the platinum twinx mudules, which have silver heatsinks and are sold in pairs.
These are guarenteed to run flawlessly the other (blue) modules are not.
