Xbox 360 Region Free Mod

I was wondering if anyone was working on ways to make the 360 region free. There only seems to be information around to flash the DVD Drive to enable it to play backups. Which isn't what I'm looking for. Is the fact that a lot of games are region free anyway putting off work in this area. Or is it as Microsoft have said Un moddable?

Atm the firmware flash to play warez is all that's available.

Does this work though for you to play all regions? Also how does this affect live?

The mod does not bypass the region coding.

No idea about live.
