FIFA 2007 and Pro Evo 360 exclusives?

Surely not? A mate told me a few days ago that these games are 360 exclusives, can anybody tell me if its true and what the deals of the exclusivity are.

Exclusives on Next-Gen consoles, i.e there will be no PS3 or Wii versions. Pretty big when you consider they would have been key PS3 launch titles.

Wasn't it revealed that MS made a gaff and what they meant to say that Pro Evo at least is 360 exclusive in Europe this year?

As I understand it, FIFA 07 is exclusive to the Xbox 360 in its next-gen form, meaning that it'll hit the Xbox, PS2, etc but will not be on PS3 or Wii until FIFA 08. As for PES, Konami clarified that it won't be on other next-gen platforms this year (meaning 2006) but they're aiming to put out a PS3 version in mid-2007. In Japan, at least.

PES6 is exclusive to the 360 in the EU for one year. Expect a JPN PS3 version sometime in the first half of 2007 and PES7 to hit on all machines at the usual time in the EU.

AFAIK, there will be a US version (named something else, but exactly the same game). However, my understanding is that it will be released early 2007.
