Dead Rising LE?

Hi,

Is the DR LE still being released? As it has dipped off the radar to pre-order, or was it just in very short supply? I have checked alot of retail / web retail websites, but most places have notes up saying not currently available or words to that effect. I was expecting it to be easily avail like PD LE, anyone know for sure what is happening?

Seems to be in very short supply, I preordered at GamePlay and withn days I got an email saying that they'd removed it from the page because their allocation was filled, and that my preorder was safe.

It's just a tin mind, no goodies like other LE's.

I heard that retailers get a certain number of LEs depending on their orders of the standard edition. Something like one for every four. If that's true all outlets should have some but supplies are going to be limited.

they were still advertising the LE version instore in HMV this morning. May have some available or advert may be weeks out of date ...

I've not seen the prices for them anywhere, HMV made it look just like it was a preorder incentive

Think it's the same price as the standard edition or at least that's what the chap in game told me today. He also mentioned they were getting plenty LE's in.

It's supposed to be the same price. Just a bit more unique when it comes to the packaging.

Personally I'm just getting the standard one because it fits better on the shelf and I don't think it's worth buying a tin one when there's no extra content in there. The Halo 2 tin was just an annoyance for me.

I do prefer the tin's cover art, but was too late to preorder it. I should have preordered it when it was available for the same price as the regular case.
