    HD Tv is this normal?

Hi, my 50" HD got delivered today and i'm pretty overwhelmed, i knew the difference in quality picture as i've played my 360 on my mums but anyway...

I'm playing away on my 360 and on the set (its a samsung 50" q7 series) the on off button which has a blue light lit when off(stand by) and when on the blue light is off, but like most tellies when you use a button it lights up, for some reason though when i'm playing my 360 it just randomly flashes, now i've checked the instruction manual and can't find anything, is there a reason for it flashing infrequently, please don't be bad...any ideas, or anyone know, Thank you.

Are you using any other remotes at the time as well? With my Samsung the same thing happens occasionally and I'd just put it down to all the infa-red and wireless devices running in my lounge to be honest.

Sometimes when I turn the volume up/down on the amp the light flashes too.

I wasn't using any other remotes at the time, just my 360 controller.

Well I'm not an expert but as I said, it normally happens for me when playing 360 as well, so I just assumed that was what it was.

It doesn't happen much mind you and I should mention my Samsung isn't the same model as mine, mine doesn't have a blue light at all, it's a red one to signal power on/off and when you press a button on the remote.

Got given this link over at AV forum http://www.dtvforum.info/lofiversion...hp/t27599.html apparently it's a known issue. I don't know what to do about it though.

I'd give the OEM a call and log it with them.. i know it'd bug the sh*t out of me if I was watching a movie and had some light coming on all the time.
