When are ps1 games going to be avalible to download on the psp?

According to PSP Updates the emulator will be coming sometime in October with a new firmware version that's due to be released that month.

From pspupdates yesterday, no more info to be had as far as I could see.

PSOne and Firmware: The PSOne emulator is coming out in October (we reported on it before) attached to a firmware update also being released that month.

Yeah thats a good point, any news on what games will be avalible? Or is it the whole back catalouge?

I don't think it will be the whole back catalogue as the PSP simply doesn't have the control methods needed for some games, what with it only having one analogue nub and two shoulder buttons instead of four.

Doesn't it require the PS3 to do it anyway? I think that acts as the server for it, unless they let you download them onto a PC as a signed EBOOT.

The price is more important to me than anything.
