    Ps3 Hdmi

I'm not technical and this is bugging me! I got my HDTV at the weekend and hooked up mt 360 to it via component in 720p and it looks great, it does

I'm reading HDMI for ps3, i've heard of HDMI before and i don't know what it is, do all hdtv's support this? (i guess not all) or can i just use compoment for ps3, my telly if it helps is a samsung 50" q7 series, but i want to know wtf is HDMi! Thank you.

HDMI is a small and neat little connecter that carrys digital video and digital sound.

It stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface

Think of it as a scart cable for the HD era.
Any TV that has the "HDready" logo will have at least 1 HDMI socket.
You should be able to use component for PS3, but HDMI will give you a marginally better picture.

Yes, I'm pretty sure HDMI will stomp all over component. Component looks muddy on my projector compared to ultra-sharp VGA.

Why they can't just make VGA the standard for everything I don't know.
