    Looking for PS2 (V10) mod

I'm looking to mod a PS2 V10 so I can play import games on it and watch region 1 dvd's.
I already have a PSTwo V12 with a Matrix Infinity that works fine for me.
Now I've come across this modder that uses the Mars 502 - m3. I can't find much info about this chip, is it good? (one site claims it to be better than the Matrix Infinity).

Or generally, what would the best mod be for me?

Really if you have used a mod and it worked fine dont see why you would need to go to something different

The chip i use is a magic 3.1 but its not the best (it has screen problems when using import psone games and some ps2 games dont work like psyvariar 2)

    Check out www.modchipstore.com

Cause the modguy where I got the Matrix Infinity from doesn't do it anymore
So now I found another one in the neighbourhood, but he hasn't got the Matrix (that sounded Transformers-like lol)

I found another one with the Messiah Ghost 2 chip. That one looks more promosing. Wasn't there a website with a comparison chart? (can't seem to find it so far)

The Mars are pretty mid-range mods.

The top-tier PS2 mods are DMS4, O2, Matrix Infinity and Ghost2 (some may say Crystal Chip too).

They all have their own little exclusive features... DMS4 Pro has built-in ToxicOS for HDD Loading of games and homebrew, homebrew over USB stick and similar.
Matrix Infinity and O2 have limited VGA support for few games, but made redundant by the forthcoming Blaze HDTV Player.

Don't know what the others hane, but the Ghost2 will suit you lovely, they're the same as far as basic game playing goes.

I second the Ghost2. Brilliant mod. Not bloated with stuff you won't use, I feel.

I've got a DMS4 Lite in my slimline PS2. Very good chip - 100% reliability in my experience, boots everything you can throw at it, and until recently when they pretty much got it to full compatibility it got regular firmware updates with new features. It doesn't have the ability to use a hard drive and all those bells and whistles like the Pro version, but obviously I can't use them on the slimline anyway and I just wanted it to work transparently and boot all my imports.

Never heard of the Mars to be honest.

How about the modbo 760? Anyone familiar with that one?
