So would either of these do the job...

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?...VR05F&DOY=17m9

    or

    http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?cat...oducts_id=8377&

EDIT :: Ok, read the full description on Lik-Sang now and it confirms it's okay for using a Jap 360 in the UK.

    Cheers for your help

The "Autotransf. 300VA" on the Maplins web site will do the job, as that's the one I've been using since December 2005 and I haven't had any problems with it yet It's the ?19.99 one.

I'm pretty sure I've read of folks on here getting decent support from Microsoft UK on import consoles. I'd have to search the forum to be sure, and I don't know if it's just the PSU or the whole unit that was replaced or repaired, but I think Microsoft did ok on this one. I think to on the safe side you're advised to say that you "bought the console when you lived / worked in the USA" and that your were relocated for your job, but I think Microsoft accepted this.

A the end of the day, if you're saving ?20 on each game you buy, then you're in profit even if manufacturer doesn't honour the warranty... based on a ?200 console and a chance of failure of less than 10%.

        Stroller.
