what it says above really. i just wondering has anyone have any instructions to get vga output on dcx. reason being is that dcx goes out of signal when launched on my monitor, i want to play my american shenmue in its vga glory.

I think you just have to be on the DCX menu and press Y, it should bring up some options including a force VGA one

yeah, i can't seem to see those options because my monitor goes off when dcx boots up. there isn't any sound prompts either when you think your changing an option. i would plug it into my telly, but i dont have a dc scart cable or rf lead anymore :/

Can't help you with the DC-X as I have never used it before, but I can provide you with an easier way of doing it.
Use the Hacked Gameshark CDX V3.3 disk. I have sent a link to the image via PM, just burn it to a CD-R with DiscJuggler and use that.
As it is US it has VGA support and it is hacked so you don't need the dongle. This is what I used to play my US 'Skies of Arcadia' in its VGA glory on my PAL Dreamcast.
Also it will allow you to cheat, if your into that kind of thing.Comment
