Straw Poll (Sort Of) - Aqua or Silver?

Neither of them are as nice as those transclucent(sp?) spunky white ones. They were gorgeous.

Are they still available or were they ultra limited?

I had an aqua blue one... now have a silver one... the silver is much, much nicer - definitely silver mate!!

I've seen all three colours in the flesh and I like them all.

The midnight blue model is quite nice too, haven't had a chance to do pics of it yet.

I would have suggested silver but after seeing Tak's pictures, I think Sakura is the best colour. It looks great


Why the hell didn't Sony paint the ports/buttons instead of leaving them black?! ft: It really spoils it IMO and tbh is the only reason stopping me from buying a LE PS2 console

The Sakura is lovely indeed, I bought one from Tak myself and am thoroughly pleased with it. One thing though, I have a first edition Silver PS2, and I have to say the finish on that is a lot nicer than the Sakura. The feel is more matt, like they have coated the surface differently. Im not sure if the 2nd run of Silver PS2s are like this also, Id imagine they would all be the same as the Sakura.

Yeah - the finish on the 2nd run is exactly the same as the first, a nice matt sort of silver.. absolutely beautiful!
