For importers. How many Watts is U.S PS3?

I'm sure this is a question PS3 importers would like answered.

Does anyone know what the wattage of the PS3 power source will be?

The answer will determine which stepdown transformer I need to operate in OZ.

Going off the Xbox 360 most people have a 300 VA / Watt rating stepdown unit as 360 outputs I think around 215W.

Does anyone know what the PS3 outputs.

I wish that PS3 insider who took shots of the final hardware in the demo kiosk could've confirmed the wattage to help us importers at least start looking for what transformer will be needed.

I'm hoping a 500VA unit will be sufficient but I remember reading an interview of an insider saying that the wattage for PS3 may end up being 400W. In this case I don't know whether a 500 VA is recommended i.e does it provide enough of a buffer so as to not run hot or whether to just go for a 1000VA model.

Nobody knows yet besides Sony, I'd say say wait until closer to the PS3's release to find out more info. I can't imagine 500VA not being enough though.
