Getting a US PS3 to WOrk in the UK

Hey, i am currently going to college in the US and will be going home for some extended periods of time over the christmas and summer holidays. SInce the PS3 is a lot cheaper over here and for the majority of my time I will be in the US over the next 4 years i'm going to get a PS3 from the US.

I was just wondering what i would need to consider to get it to work correctly back home in the uk. I know that i will have to get a step down converter to drop voltage from 240v to 210v but i don't have a HDTV yet, the one in the house is used reguarly so would be readily available so i was wondering on how i would deal with the NTSC/PAL issue?

Are their any other issues i would have to deal with?

You need to drop voltage to 100-110v. An RGB lead via the multi out port should be fine.
    Kept you waiting, huh?

Stepdown (240V to 110V) and an RGB cable are probably all you'll need here to get it running.

so if i bought an RGB adapter like they have specifically for the ps2 for the ps3 i should be fine?

any brand recommendations you can make or would possibly work well?

Assuming it works... don't see why not though. Go for the Blaze cable.
