Stereo Speakers to use with my 360 and TV ?

I have my 360 connected to my Samsung 27' LCD via the VGA cable with the sound output via the TV using the VGA cables RCA connections. However the TV's speakers are frankly rubbish. So I'm after a set of stereo speakers I can sit either side of the TV which dish out decent stereo sound and I can use the sound outputs from the VGA cable to connect them up. I'm not interested in 5.1 at the moment just some good quality stereo sound.

The speakers have to be black, good looking (as they are going in my lounge) and resonably sized and priced, any suggestions ?

I'm assuming I can use these for normal TV viewing as well as the 360 sound when playing games without unplugging the audio connections from TV and 360 each time ?

Logitech and Acoustic Energy (Aego M Speaker set) do some good 2.1 setups which aren't too expensive.

I've found that if you're after a simple system that gives good value for money Logitech make some very good ones. I use one of their 5.1 setups (this one) in my room at the moment and it's a great performer that only cost me ?150.

They have quite a few 2.0 and 2.1 systems here.

I take it all of these speakers just use the RCA connections on the VGA cable ? Actually thinking about it how do I connect the RCA connections to the speakers and then connect the sound back into the TV ?

Could someone explain in simple terms how to connect it up please ?

At the moment I have the two audio leads from the VGA cable going to the sound input audio connection next to the VGA input on the rear of the TV via a 3.5mm adapter. So if I plug these two inputs into the speakers how do I get the sound back to the TV ?

Or am I missing something simple ?

What about something like this -

I play quite a lot of my games through decent quality headphones (due to other family members watching TV, kids in bed etc), so using VGA lead, I have the two audio connectors plugged into a 3.5mm jack which connects direct to my headphones, not going to match quality levels by ?150 amps, but a ideal work around for me

Is it possible to get a 2.1 speaker set with optical input? I don't have the space for a 5.1 set up.
