Helping My Cousin Sarah

Hi guys,

Quite a personal cry for help here. My cousin has turned to me for my "expert" gaming knowledge, but rather embarrassingly I'm unable to help her. Does anyone know the item she is referring to?

Here's what my cousin Sarah emailed to me:

Hi Nick,
I've finally got my boy sitting with me, to check the accuracy of what I
say. (there is very little to go on!)

Basically, when we were on holiday Finlay and Molly briefly met a boy with
a DS, who Finlay says plugged his Action Replay into Molly's DS, resulting
in bonus points being down loaded into her Nintendogs game.

I've looked on line at Action Replay and it looks to me to be a piece of
software, which refers to getrting cheats. When I asked in Game they tried
to sell me a PC based product.

Basically Fin has now also got a DS and they want to be able to maximise
this opportunity and if possible do the same, and download stuff to each
other.

Fin has some vouchers - if there are other products you can suggest to help
him get more from his DS that woould be great. Otherwise he can buy a game!

I'm really sorry this is so confused - it's the joy of knowing so little
and understanding even less in terms of technology! If you can't help don't
worry!

I don't use them but I think the difference is that the silver one comes with the codes on and the red doesnt.
