Garou on PS2...That much better than the DC version??

Been getting into this game a lot lately, i own the Dreamcast version... is it true that the PS2 version is much better? I don't, and have no intention of owning a Neo geo btw. Thinking of posting in the Wanted thread for a PS2 version y'see

I think that, other than the sound issue in the DC version, they're pretty much the same. I'm sure some hardcore fighting fanatic will tell me it has some extra frames or something though. I just play the PS2 version these days because I don't have space to have all my consoles hooked up.

In short, yes.

Mainly eliminates the sound lag, caused by doing moves. Also it doesn't have the borders on the sides of the screen like the Dreamcast version.

Though there is one oddity where once you have 'just defended' a move, and then countered with your own special, the on screen text for it (for the life of me i can't remember what its specifically called) doesn't pop up on the screen telling you, you've done it.
