MGS3: Subsistence Progressive Scan PAL?

According to the HDTV Arcade forums the US version of Subsistence doesn't support prog scan

Poor show with no Prog Scan on either PAL or NTSC versions. Didnt know this was being released here now, thats a good few months after US release. Any worthwhile changes to the PAL version to warrant the price or is it better off picking up on the cheap for a US copy?

Even more of a poor show is that if any previous MGS games are to go by on the PS2, it won't feature 60hz PAL, and for anyone who has played MGS3 on a US PS2, will know that the frame-rate difference on the PAL version is noticeable on a number of the more technically intensive cut-scenes.

Two discs if it wasn't the Special Edition 4 limited run 4 disc version. Makes the PAL version tempting.

I saw the PAL version today. It comes in one of those fat DVD cases like the Silent Hill Collection.

If the bonus disc had included all the MGS4 trailers (including that hilarious teaser from E3 2005) and the game been given a proper conversion I might have bought it, but as it is I only paid ?15 for the US version a few months ago. Late, inferior, and more expensive: what a combination.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the MGS4 trailers were included. It doesn't matter though - they won't be in high definition (you can get two of them online at 720p, where one of them combines both the Leipzig 06 and TGS 05 footage together).

i could only find 1 on it and that was the old tgs2005 trailer. what about the new ones which are better, silly konami.

The back of the box says that it's just the TGS 2005 one. Meaning the one that's over a year old and we've seen countless times.
