    PS3 Logitech/Logicool GT Force RX?

Play-Asia have added a PS3 wheel to their database, does anyone have any info on it?
I'm just wondering if it's a G25 with the clutch and manual gear shift removed, which would rock8)
    It's $130, compared to the G25's $300, so it'd be highly unlikely

Yesasia have listed it at $98.99 with free shipping in case anyone is interested.
Still no pics or info on the wheel though.

Apparently Logitech have confirmed that PS2 wheels will work on the PS3, so no real need to make the upgrade.

This thread's a one man conversation but I don't care

YA's tradition of jacking up the price on heavy items with "free" shipping continues, I just recieved an email from them:

In reference to your order XXXXXXX, we sincerely apologies for any inconvenience may caused. At this time, we have found that the incorrect price was updated for "GT Force RX (Japan Version)". We have already updated the price to US$215.49 on our site.

In order to process your order, we would need to have your kind confirmation of price correction. Should you not accept the new price, we are sorry but your order will then be cancelled

I recently found out the Japanese RRP is ?40ish
I'll be sticking with my trusty PS2 GT Force for the PS3 then

I've received confirmation that this wheel is just the Driving Force EX under a different badge and without the PS2 connector.

I'm also receiving mixed info on whether Ridgeracer 7 will be compatible with it. Several stores have it listed as being compatible, but I've gotten word from a staff member at 1UP that he was told by one of Namco's publisher people that it will NOT support any wheels.....

Hope someone here can get more info....

thx, i don't think the new wheel for ps3 will be as good as the DFPro [GT4] Wheel, but we'll havta wait & see ..... i'd think that USB DFPro wheel should be fine, tho, on PS3

Logitech have confirmed that PS2 wheels will work fine on the PS3. Forget this wheel and stick with the Driving Force Pro.

From Logicool's Japanese website via Google translate:

As for [rojikuru], GT FORCE? RX November 11th (the Saturday) verifies that with PS3 private racing game software ?ridge racer of corporation [bandainamukogemusu] of sale schedule 7? it operates. By the fact that road surface circumstance and GT FORCE? of fourth feedback functional loading which expresses reaction force at the time of cornering to real RX are used, being 200km/h over, the hairpin corner you run and course of the refreshing drift racing ?ridge racer 7 which? it comes out in the stage, the actual car to a considerable degree real you can taste the operation impression.
If Ridge Racer 7 actually winds up supporting this wheel with TRUE force feedback I'm gonna be pleasantly surprised but highly pissed at the same time!

A Namco publisher confirmed to Milkman from 1Up that the game would have no FFB effects ( *LINK* )

I was brushing the possibility of FFB off all this time thinking the game would have it. But then why is it stated on Logitech's official Japanese site that RR7 supports this wheel if that's the case.
