    Outrun 2006 sound problem

i picked up a copy of the pc version on sale in game yesterday. looks bloody gorgeous, in a high resolution of 1680x1050 with max settings and fogging disabled. Im having an annoying problem though, while having a good race the sound will just cut off now and again. Its hugely distracting. has anyone else experienced this problem?

i have an audigy 2 sound card if that helps.

have they patched it yet? my mate said the patch will add force feedback support for wheels, and i'm assuming if this sound thing is common they'd fix that too

No patch yet. We do know about the Audigy issue, but we can only do a patch if Sega asks us to. Which is why I encourage anyone with issues to get in touch with Sega Support. Just so you know the sound problem seems to be something to do with the Audigy drivers, might be worth checking for an update as that may fix it.

Dunno where the force feedback rumour has come from though?

If you drop onto Sega's website (http://www.sega-europe.com/en/Homepage.htm) the support section is off the main page, via the tab at the top.

You need to create an account mind.

I'll see if I can't track down an email address to hit direct.

Force Feedback is unlikely, but then again, if Sega ask for it...
