Xbox 360 shortages Xmas?

I'm toying with the idea of picking up a pal 360 closer to xmas time. Do you think it will be like the past few years when every console ever has completely sold out. Or is there currently plenty of stock?

There's offer's everywhere for consoles and bundled games, so there's loads "kicking about", it won't be a problem picking one up I'm sure.

consoles always sell out at xmas time. Avoid it best you can by buying early. Also you'll beat massive queues

Could possibly be a flux of parents out getting the consoles, also if the Wii sells out some of the mums n dads might turn towards teh 360 instead

Unless there's a sudden rush on them from people who can't find a Wii and are only just finding out about the PS3 delay, I'd think the 360 would be fairly easy to obtain. Microsoft will undoubtedly be keen to avoid the massive shortages from last year and take advantage of what they probably see as a relatively free Christmas for them.

Might be worth waiting. It seems that MS are going to be preparing a quieter 360 for next year. That's when i'll be getting mine, hopefully Mass Effect and Bioshock will be out by then as well.
