DS (lite) wifi online help

Hiya

So I have a DS lite. It's shiny and white and stuff.
I've taken Mario Kart DS online at a net cafe once, and it worked and that was all fine.
Now I've popped back to my parents place and I've been trying to get online here.

I've set up the DS correctly (or so I presume.) The WIfi connection setup thing says that it's connected successfully, but when I try it in game (both Animal Crossing and Mario Kart) it says that it can't connect, and gives the 52200 error code.

I'm using the Netgear WGR614 v4 router connected to the Netgear DG632 ADSL modem. I've opened up some ports that I found somewhere, 443 and 28910-29930, set up a static IP and DNS on my DS and now I'm lost.

Has anyone got any ideas? I'll take anything at this point...

Are you broadcasting your SSID?

Aye, I've got the right SSID and WEP in there. It's really bizarre - the Wi-Fi connection Setup Utility bit says that I'm connecting correctly but the games disagree.

I've just realised that it only says "connected successfully" in the Wi-Fi Connection Setup when I test it at least twice...

Put the DS's IP address in the DMZ of your router. Thats what I had to do, as there's more ports used than you've listed I'm sure.

That'll sort it.
