    2-port USB hub/splitter

I can only seem to find 4-port hubs. I want a nice small 2-port hub/splitter so that I can plug the Live Vision camera and the wifi-adapter into the rear USB port of my 360 simultaneously. I have 2 DOA4 sticks, which take up the front ports and I want to get away from continuous swapping of devices.

    Anyone got any sugestions?

    take your pick

I bought a cheap ebuyer own brand 4 port one years ago (for PC) and it's still going strong, Maplins must sell them also if you have one nearby.

Or, if you want a three-port one in green and white with built in media-card reader there's this for ?24.99.

Also for ?24.99 is the Cooler King with four usb ports and so much more.

This Cooler King looks like it could be ideal. Only one thing bothers me though. Can you still use the standard component cable or do I need a component to component cable? i.e does the CK plug into the 360's av out port?

On second thoughts, there is nowhere to plug the wifi-adapter into, and it looks as though you do need a component to component cable for it. The MS branded cables will become useless with this device. It's got some kind of interesting looking dip switches on it tho

Right so I got me a 2-port hub. Plugged it into the back USB port, plugged the wifi-adapter and the camera into it. Turned everything on and neither the camera or the wifi-adapter are recognised.

Anyone help me out here? Now it's not so bad because this here HD-DVD drive has 2 USBs on it so I'll be able to plug both my things into that without the need for a hub, but for now I need a fix.

Nope. It has a 5V socket, but no actual adapter.

So what you saying then Mayday. I need to plug in the 5v? That'll defeat the object of what I'm trying to do. Meh, I'll just wait for the HD-DVD thingy then and keep swapping for now. Way to design a console MS dudes.
