Windows Live Messenger Prob

One of my girlfriends mates at uni has been having trouble signing in on WLM. Just tested using the crappy Windows messenger thats built in XP that signed in fine but WLM won't sign in at all. Removed and reinstalled it but it hasn't made a difference.

The connection tester on there doesn't show any problems at all.

Only thing I can think of is to make sure it's made an exception for iteself in Windows Firewall. As it's a uni network, there's a good chance they've got some firewall action going on too. Does it work for anyone else on campus?
