    Xbox 360 Network problem

I have just set up my new wireless network and encrypted it using WEP and made a note of the encryption key.

When I go to the 360 and try to connect it fails. It can see my Router but wont connect even after inputting the WEP key.

The interface type is 802.11b/g and the WEP is 64 bit key length.

My 360 did connect before encryption so Im at a loss to see what I am doing wrong.

The WLAN light on my modem has changed colour to amber.IS that normal?

Am I doing something fundamentally wrong?

There are several versions of WEP 128bit 64bit I think, it may be that you have your router set on one that the 360 doesn't support.

Just tried to get the PSP on to the network and that came up with an error message.I have checked the WEP key and its the same I have been entering.

Try upgrading the firmware on the router

            This might help

                Got it

There was a setting to only allow new devices via registration!

                Had to uncheck that

                Cheers for the help
