Tronixweb.com postage question

I was going to order some stuff from them and take the standard airmail, but theres no refunds if the games get lost unless i choose DHL. So has anyone ever had a problem with stuff going missing from Tronix when using standard airmail?

But as a datapoint I've ordered from them once, in July, & it arrived ok. Delivery time was about 10 days.

It might not be massively reassuring to her that only one order has arrived ok from Tronix using this delivery method, but I figure no-one else has replied yet, so it's better for you to hear my experience than none at all!!

I might add that my invoice is marked "International Global Priority Flat Letter Mail" - I'm pretty sure this means the game is put in one of those standard, red and grey, US postage pre-paid cardboard envelopes. I've had ordered quite a number of second-hand books from US Amazon & Z-Shops sellers in the past and most have them have been delivered like this with no problems.

Edit: I should add that I used Tronix because they were recommended by someone else on this forum. You might find other remarks on them in that thread.

i've ordered from them loads of times and used the airmail shipping and not had any lost, but now i tend to use fedex shipping as it comes in 1-3 days

Never had anything lost from Tronix.

I've never had a problem with them. It's the same with any company that ships internationally through standard airmail and is a risk you take for saving money. It's really not likely to go missing though, and they're just covering themselves for the odd situations when it does happen.

Ordered a new Gameboy SP with new screen from them - I received it in 9 days flat - superb service from Tronix would def use them again (and you can add order notes - like 'mark item as gift' or whatever)... Hope that helps

Surely if it does go missing you can claim on your credit card? Anyhow I've ordered loads of stuff from Tronix and have never had anything go missing. They're really good.
