I had a US copy and I couldn't get online with it. I just thought it was because I had a modded PS2. -
well you need a to have a version that matches your region PS2, so
PAL console = PAL game
Also if you have a modded machine the modchip must be off - as the DNAS(?) will block your connection if it detects a modchip...Comment

this isnt the question I'm asking, its pretty obvious I can only play or boot a pal copy on my unmodded pal machine.

Sorry mate I kind of taken over your thread with my own issues. It looks like the game is only region specific online. Meaning you can only play the PAL/EU version with EU players.Originally posted by kernow
Not sure why they did it like that. Must be lazy development. With the lack of coding between 50hz and 60hz players it might cause lag and instead of sorting it out like most online games these days, they just made it region specific.Comment
