    Simple NTSC SNES question...help!

Im sure this is a very obvious answer but I needed a second opinion.
I bought a NTSC snes without a power lead and have been told a UK one will work fine. Can someone verify this as its taking me a lot of courage to trying it!
I dont want to fry the machine or worse....
    Thanks

a uk one will work in terms of its output voltage(as i use).....but you need a 7mm plug for it as it wont plug into your us snes. if you buy a socket that your uk power pack plugs into, solder two wires to the terminals in that then get the 7mm plug to attach to those then it will work. there is 3 parts you need, all availabe form maplin, buying these stops you needing to butcher the output plug on your uk supply.

Im sure I read somewhere that either a UK MegaDrive or MegaDrive 2 power supply will fit a US SNES - I cant remember which one it is though, but im sure another forum member will be able to tell you which one it is. Sorry for not being more helpful!

I think im going to scan ebay usa for and import a NTSC power source. Dont want to ruin the only UK snes plug i have. I dont think they will be to expensive its the postage that will sting more.
            Thanks for your input guys.
