Is NTSC-U Chibi Robo Players Choice now ?

About to order a PS2 component cable from cduniverse.com and found that they have Chibi Robo for $16.49. I emailed them and they said it was the Players Choice version, however i didn't think this had been released as PC and there's no mention on Nintendo.com of it.

Anyone care to shed any light ?

    EDIT:
EBgames.com have it for $19.99 aswell as Fire Emblem for the same price, i guess they're both PC then

Just wanted to share in your misery. I was going to buy the US version in a couple of weeks, but now I'm just going to have to rock myself to sleep at night in sheer horror.

Don't think Chibi has been released on Player's Choice. There are quite a few listed on ebay for the same sort of price & none mention they're the P.C. release.

Most listings use stock photos but this one has a proper pic & looks like the original release:

I don't think it's Players Choice just yet, but it was recently discounted in price to $20 in the US, along with Batallion Wars, so that probably explains the price drop.

Sorry, but why does it matter is a game is Player's Choice branded? Is it not just the same, apart from a yellow stripe on the packaging?

          Stroller.

To some the Player's Choice 'stripe' is equivalent to drawing a beard on a portrait of the Virgin Mary

Guess it depends how much time you spend drooling over your games collection instead of just enjoying the games......

Haha spot on Tom, good analogy.
To be honest i don't have enough time to play all the game i buy so i might aswell make sure they look good, gathering dust, on my shelf
Too late now anyway, i've ordered the PS2 component cable. I might ask a couple of the ebay sellers and see what they say.

PS Completed Battalion Wars last night, great game

Yeah I know exactly what you mean Chunky

Been there myself....I always used to avoid Player's Choice/ Greatest Hits releases like the plague. At the time I probably couldn't have told you why but for some reason it seemed important. Reckon it was probablt because I was too busy with work & various other stuff so had to get some sort of enjoyment out of my collection!

I have more time on my hands these days and am just enjoying the games for what they are. Still pretty anal about the condition they're in though (vinyl protective sleeves on 'em etc.) but it's not like trophy collecting anymore!!!
