    wireless netowrk problem

I have had my wireless network set up for a couple of weeks now but this morning I cant get any wireless items to connect. The PC has a built in wireless card and this normally shows as conected.

My 360 wont connect this morning although it did yesterday and I have not changed any settings.

I have WEP encryption enabled but this has been the case since the network went in.

My PC is connected to the router via Ethernet so that is working correctly. The router is a Speedtouch 585 that has been fine but yesterday whilst surfing the router powered itself down on its own and then came back on.

Could this be the cause of the problem?

    Prolly.
Try accessing your router using a browser. Your router's manual should tell you how to do this. Sometimes you can get away with putting 192.168.01 in as a url.

Once you connect to the browser check the wireless settings / wep etc.

I have checked and they all look fine to me.The PC cant even see the network.Although when I rebooted the machine it found it,connected and then lost the connection!

It gets weirder. It just flashed up and told me it found the network.I havent done anything since I lost the connection so this is really starting to confuse me.

And then lost it...and then found it.

Do you think I should contact my ISP who supplied the router to see what the hell is going on.

Try restarting the router, some routers frig out if they have been on a long time.
