Urgent Question re the x360 live 12 month subscription and profiles.

Me and my mate (CK1980) use the same xbox360, live in the same house, (not gay or anything btw)

We bought a 12 month xbox live sub cos the months gold trial expired, i registered it as me (rubiq) and played for a bit, he logged on under his profile) but its showing him as a silver account and not a 12 month gold.


Surely you dont need to pay for 2 subscriptions for using the same xbox, we had no bother when we used the months trial and both profiles logged onto gold fine.

Please advise :?

The Gold accounts are tied strictly to the Gamertag, If his profile wants to play online, he needs his own subscription.

RuBiQ I've got a 1 month Live trial code if your mate needs it (I think MS allow you to register a max of 3 trial codes per Gamertag before you have to buy one).

Yes MS do allow a max of three trial sub's per Gamertag.
