360 in B&W only! HELP!!

Bugger.

My HD LCD was taken away yesterday by the insurance company after a fall, so I'm awaiting a repair on that. That left me with a couple of standard CRTs. I switched the 360 output from HD to TV, and ran composite through a SCART block. Both TV's show the image in B&W in both PAL50 and PAL60.

I went out and bought a 360 SCART lead thinking that would resolve the problem, but it's still B&W. On both TVs.

Any ideas??

This happened to quite a few people after the first Dash update.

an RGB scart fixes the problem, maybe your TVs don't actually support RGB?

Using a laptop, don't have a PC screen at home

I'm pretty sure the SCART lead I bought it RGB. I didn't get the official one, I got one which also had s-video on it in case I needed that flexibility in the future. The TV's definitely support RGB, I've used them to play import consoles on in the past through RGB SCART.

Guess I'm just buggered until the insurance people get back to me
